Lemon Kush

Lemon Kush (not to be confused with Lemon OG Kush) is a Hybrid strain that has 2 widely recognized genetic variations: The first variant is said to have the genetics of Master Kush (indica) crossed with Lemon Joy (a hybrid of unknown origins). The second variety combines the genetics of Afghan Kush (a pure indica) and Lemon G (sativa). Both plant varieties produced a rather well balanced strain (50:50 indica/sativa genetics), with samples of Lemon Kush having been recorded to contain between 15-25% THC in laboratory tests, making it moderately to highly psychoactive.

Lemon Kush can cause a creeping sense of stimulation and euphoria, often taking 10 minutes or so before the full effects set in. This makes this strain perfect for treatment of anxiety or depression, or to enjoy recreationally and enhance just about any mood or setting. In addition to its powerful cerebral effects, the indica properties shine through once the body has enough time to absorb and metabolize all of the cannabinoids in this plant. These can help with ailments such as muscle spasms and headaches, as well as relieve cramps, stress, inflammation or chronic pain. On the down side, some users noted that when consumed, Lemon Kush tends to be harsh on the lungs, capable of inducing coughing, as well as to produce mild cottonmouth.

Lemon Kush has physical properties that are akin to an indica plant. Its buds are tight, dense and tend to be smaller than average. It has a characteristically bushy appearance, enjoys a warm climate with lots of sunlight, and is recommended for indoor or greenhouse cultivation where it can reach 4-6 feet in height and provide an average yield every 8-10 weeks. The leaves are light green in color, covered by a generous coating of trichomes that make the green seem that much lighter.
