Cinderella 99

Cinderella 99, also known as “Cindy,” or “C99,” as referred to by many of its users, is an 85% Sativa dominant hybrid. It was bred by Brothers Grimm and legend has it that Cinderella 99 originated from some Jack Herer seeds found in Amsterdam. It looks and smells like a tasty piece of (green) fruit, with its tight, dense buds, orange hairs, and piney sweet scent. Users say the taste isn’t anything to write home about, but considering that it is being used as a medicine, the taste is hardly the main focus. With very high level of THC (up to 22%), this strain has an intense cerebral high that leaves its users dreamy, creative, and euphoric, while still providing energy and excitement (not too spacey). It’s also good for pain and a boost in appetite. Its effects can take a few minutes to creep, so it is advised to smoke Cinderella 99 slowly.
As a daily smoker, Cinderella 99 is recommended for stress, inflammation, nausea relief, pain, anxiety, as an energy booster, and to help fight depression. Side effects can include cotton mouth, dry eyes, paranoia, headaches, and dizziness. Cindy won 3rd place in Best US Hybrid in the 2016 Cannabis Cup. It has a very high yield and is great for indoor grows because it’s short and stout, with a quick flowering time (around 50 days). However, it is not as hardy of a plant as a grower may prefer and it may require special handling and extra care. When attempting to grow Cinderella 99, it’s recommended that the cultivator be at least moderately experienced.
