Strawberry Fields

Strawberry Fields is a 100% pure indica strain that is said to have originated in Vermont. It has a legendary reputation as a pure indica, but unfortunately one would find it extremely difficult to run into the original genetics of this plant and most of what is available today has been derived from cross-breeding over the years. As a high-yielding plant with a relatively short flowering time (7-8 weeks), it is a popular choice for growers. It has the smell and taste of fresh strawberries with some berry accents, giving this strain its name (and not named after the Beatles' song like some people believe).

Characteristically true to its class, Strawberry Fields delivers a mellow body high, making one feel as if they're floating in a cloud. It is a great strain to unwind or deal with stress, chronic pain, depression and insomnia. It tends to produce cotton mouth, so having liquids on hand for hydration may be a good idea. It may even be prudent to put some water nearby, preferably in before medicating as the heavy couch lock will make it difficult to move.

This strain is best consumed at night, after work, or when lounging around and not expecting to be productive. Strawberry Fields has strong sedative effects and if overused, will cause someone to become overpowered by sleep.
