Mr. Nice

Mr. Nice is an 80% indica strain derived from the cross of 2 other indicas of great renown: G13 and Hash Plant. Created by Sensi Seeds in 1999, its THC levels range between 13% - 20% with relatively high CBD levels of 0.5% - 1%. The strain was named in honor of Howard Marks - one of the biggest marijuana smugglers from the 80s (and frankly, all time) who after being incarcerated on drug-related charges went on to release his autobiography entitled "Mr. Nice."

Mr. Nice (also known as Mr. Nice Guy) won second place in the 2004 High Life Cup for its powerfully sedating full-body effects that can creep up and significantly degrade one's motivation and initiative, while maintaining a sense of alertness, elevating the mood, and even working as an aphrodisiac and stimulating the senses. Mr. Nice is recommended for use later in the day or evening, as its bodily effects can ease chronic pain as well as help fight depression, stress, glaucoma, anorexia, and nausea. Patients who suffer from insomnia have also been known to rely on this strain's calming properties to help them sleep. The potential side effects of Mr. Nice are typical for an indica and may include dry mouth and eyes, mild paranoia, or light dizziness.

Mr. Nice requires an experienced grower and a lot of attention. It is best grown indoors and takes around 9-10 weeks to flower. Each plant is dark green in color and can yield 2-4 ounces with excellent calyx-to-leaf ratios. The buds are extremely dense and have a sweet and fruity aroma, mixed with earthy and skunky undertones. Mr. Nice is unique in that it has single cola dominance, meaning the strain tends to produce one large apical bud with minimal side branching, requiring a special process to cultivate properly.
