818 OG
"818" is the area code for Southern Calfornia's San Fernando Valley, or "SFV" for short. Many consider this to be the birthplace of the OG Kush strain that is so popular today, which also happens to be the parent from which 818 OG is derived and where countless growers are working on improving their own cut or variation of the famed old-school OG.
818 OG is a sticky, powerful, and fast acting indica that packs quite the punch. It's THC levels exceed 20% with minimal CBDs of 0.2% or under. As a pure indica strain, it helps to alleviate pain, stress, insomnia, lack of appetite and depression. It's long lasting cerebral effects boost mood, inspire creativity, and deliver a general sense of euphoria. It is also a powerfully sedative that helps relax the entire body. On the down side, it can produce dry, red eyes and cotton mouth.
818 OG tastes fruity, flowery and earthy with a hint of lavender. It takes about 9 weeks to flower and produces a medium to high yield. It is not to be confused with the alternative strain named for the same locale and stemming from the same genetics - SFV OG, which has a pungently sour and fuel-like taste.
