Gorilla Glue #4

Cup Winner
1 / 0

Gorilla Glue #4 is a 65% sativa dominant hybrid, created by GG Strains in Colorado from a 3-way cross between Sour Dubb, Chem’s Sister, and Chocolate Diesel. It is a very potent strain, with THC levels typically measuring around 25%-28%, but having tested as high as 32% making it one of the most concentrated strains available. It’s CBD content is very low, typically under 0.1%, which further contributes to the strain’s heavy psychoactive effects. In 2014, Gorilla Glue #4 won two Cannabis Cup 1st place awards for best hybrid, the first in Los Angeles and the second in Michigan. If that wasn’t enough, GG4 also dominated the hybrid category at the High Times Jamaican World Cup that same year.

The medical benefits of Gorilla Glue #4 include treating chronic pain, depression, insomnia and lack of appetite. It can also be used by OCD sufferers to alleviate anxiety and induce relaxation and euphoria. Despite it’s sativa dominance, it gives the sensation that one’s body is about to melt, which makes it must suitable for night-time use. The potency and long lasting effects come at a price, as this strain is known to produce severe dry mouth, dry eyes, and potential dizziness if consumed in large doses.

Gorilla Glue #4 appears light green in color. At time of harvest, the plant looks like it has been ‘salted,’ due to the abundance of crystals on the leaves. It is capable of filling the room with a strong, potent diesel smell with hints of coffee, pine, and chocolate. It flowers in 8-9 weeks and has a high yield.
