ArcticBlue

ArcticBlue is a 60/40 indica-dominant hybrid cultivated by ArcticBlue Farms in Alaska. Bred using DJ Short Blueberry and a twice-crossed Blueberry indica, the cultivators created this plant with the intention of holding onto that blueberry smell and taste they loved so much. They did just so, creating a very flavorful strain that laboratory tests have shown to contain in excess of 28% THC with 0.07% CBD.

When smoking ArcticBlue, the user is immediately struck with the sweet and fruity scent of ripe blueberries. The effects of this strain are quite popular and include euphoria, boost in creativity and mood, all while creating a sense of relaxation without immobilizing the user. Medical patients may look to this strain for relief with pain, anxiety or stress. Despite its indica dominant genetics, this strain isn't meant to sedate, and with effects like this, ArcticBlue is a great option for morning or daytime use. However, due to the high potency, careful dosage is recommended.

Each Arctic Blue plant can grow up to 6" in height, yielding upwards of 2 lbs per plant. It is a highly resinous plant that's great for concentrate extraction and in 2015 it won 3rd place in the concentrates category at the Cannabis Classic in Anchorage, Alaska.
