ACDC

ACDC is a an evenly balanced hybrid that is thought to have been created in California. It tastes of earthy and woody flavors, with a slight sweet scent of lemongrass. It's only known parent is Cannatonic, but little else is knwn about it's origin. It's claim to fame is due to the fact that ACDC gives off little-to-none psychoactive effects, having been formulated to be as close to a pure CBD plant as one can get. In fact, Cannatonic was one of the earliest strains measuring a 1:1 CBD:THC ratio, which is why it was selected as the basis from which ACDC was created.
ACDC has been tested as high as 22:1 CBD:THC and consequently is a highly sought-after plant for its ability to provide relief without psychoactivity. The THC level is very low, ranging between 0.42 to 1.2%, yet the plant still delivers positive effects such as euphoria, mood enhancement, and even increased focus. On the down side, ACDC may produce cotton mouth and dry eyes.
Patients use ACDC to treat severe pain, anxiety, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, the negative effects of chemotherapy, inflammation, muscle spasms, and even alcoholism and depression. It induces a state of calm and can be a great way of relieving stress after a difficult day. ACDC is recommended mainly for afternoon use, however, being a CBD strain, this isn't a usual pick for recreational users. Alternatively, ACDC is quite popular with medical marijuana patients looking to manage conditions or aleviate their symptoms.
The buds of ACDC look mossy, with green and light orange colors and a dense and fluffy structure. The plants are bushy, characterized by thin leaves, and can grow as high as 4 feet tall. ACDC has won several awards, including 2nd place in Best CBD Concentrates at the 2015 High Times Cannabis Cup.
