Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau legalized medical marijuana in Canada in 2017 and individuals are permitted to medicate provided that they abide by the rules laid out by Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) legislature, which is issued by the department of the government overseeing national public health.
