Senate Bill 119 was signed into law in 2011 to allow eligible medical patients with a valid physician's recommendation to recieve identification cards upon submitting an application to the state. With proper identification, possession of up to 2 ounces of usable cannabis is permitted per month. Personal cultivation is still prohibited under the current law.
